BIO: A Little Info About Me

Background:

I'm originally from a small town called Lyons in upstate New York. Growing up there in a fairly rural area helped me develop many of my skills and my humble attitude. While I was young I was enrolled in a talented and gifted program in which I was also awarded the most talented and gifted in 6th grade. There I was a big fish in small water gathering up a few art awards in my area. I was enthralled by art and tech. I developed the graphics for my Senior Yearbook and was also nominated most artistic. I also achieved the Scholastic Golden Key award my senior year.  My supporting teachers, friends and family helped prepare me for the future ahead.

College:

In fall of 2009 I left my hometown to venture off and attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Game Art and Design. The city was a nice change of pace and opened me up to many new and interesting possibilities.

Life After School:

As my day job I'm currently working at Cannabis Grow Op called AYR Wellness. I've worked in several headshops (J&S Glass, Glass Gone Wow) in the past. Several 4 star restaurants (Nola, Shiloh Grill, Tonic Bar & Grill)  I got into vending at music and art festivals with a friend of mine. It gave me an outlet to sell some of my creations and had me on my toes because of the entrepreneurial hustle. I've always been into playing music but it was hard to do during school because of my living situation. Eventually I was able to play music frequently and with others. I joined a metal band called Curseborn playing bass with a few friends at one point and gigged at several local venues. Now in my current place I have a home studio setup where my friends and I can play and record music. I've had an appreciation for glass for a while but i just recently invested into the tools to craft it myself. Glassblowing is very challenging yet rewarding and different way to appreciate and create 3D art. Speaking of 3D art I also invested in a 3D printer for creating small 3D printed models. My goal is to print models and make molds for them so I can pour different materials for interesting final outcomes and applications (Silver Jewelry, Action Figures, Invention Prototypes). My main goal in life is to live happy and spread love using my creativity to fuel my lifestyle and adventures.
